Personal Use (non-editorial/commercial use)
Copies of the digital photographs are usually available to license for personal use. This file maybe used for printing, emailing and other personal uses. This file may not be used for editorial or commerical usages (including but not limited, advertising/marketing of products or services, usage in newpapers, magazines, catalogs, company collateral).
This is a licensing agreement and not a sale of the image. This license allows you to make prints from this file, and to use the
image for any other personal use, but does not grant any copyright to
the image. Cascade Event Photography maintains all copyrigts to the image. Other than the use or uses expressly listed above, no other use of the
image(s) is authorized and any other use is specifically
prohibited without express written permission of Cascade Event Photography. Violations may be turned over to legal authorities depending on the severity of the infraction.
These files may be made available for licensing in the through our galleries as a downloadable image
(see "Digital Products").
- Regular "For personal or non-commercial use" digital files: The images will be
approximately 1100x1650 pixels at 220dpi and in JPEG format. This resolution will
make full-screen web images or 5"x7" prints at 220 PPI.
- "Small personal or non-commercial use online image": The image will be approximately 480x320 pixels at 72dpi and in JPEG format, This resolution is not suitable size for printing, but is ample for online usage such as facebook, personal blogs/websites.
- "Hi-resolution: For personal or non-commercial use": This is a full sized image file typically 2500+ pixel along the shortest side (maybe larger depending on cropping and equipment used) at 240 dpi and in JPEG format. This resolution is suitable size for printing at least 8"x10"
Please note, because of the nature or digital files, once delivered, our guarantee policy doesn’t cover this item. Except in
the event of a damaged product, refunds or returns will not be accepted.
Editorial & Commercial Use
We can offer different arrangement depending on the photo and your needs (exclusive/non-exlcusive rights, time-based usage right, one-time usage rights, circulation, etc). Contact us to discuss the photos you are interested in using. Let us know the desired use and distribution. Editorial and Commercial use images are typically provided in TIFF format unless specified otherwise.
